About the Business
Formed in 2000, H&M started operating from an office in Farringdon Street on the edge of the City of London, in London's East End. The Company quickly established a reputation for its flexibility and ability to respond quickly to customers' requirements. Over the years the company built up a strong customer base, in construction and commercial properties in the City and across the Greater London area. In 2002 H&M moved to larger premises at 11 Jubilee Avenue, Highams Park, London E4 9JD.
The high standards we had set for ourselves allowed us to become one of the first group of contractors to gain Approved Status from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) in 2007. In 2004 H&M won contracts working on London Underground refurbishment projects, and used this as an opportunity to further strengthen our existing safety management systems by the addition of a dedicated Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Manager to the team.
